hi, I'm Tricia

I'm a high school SLP in my 10th year, split between two buildings. I know exactly what it feels like to walk into a group of ninth graders with fifteen minutes of planning time and a folder full of materials made for second graders.

I built Thoughtful Talk because secondary SLPs deserve resources made for our students: real topics, respectful visuals, and three levels of support so every kid in the group can participate. Every lesson on this site is something I use with my own caseload.
